Happy Holidays from The Archives
Good evening lovely readers,
The books have settled down for the night, the stacks are quiet, and whatever’s been chattering and humming away in the demonology section has seemed to have tired itself out, so I have a moment of quiet.
I hope you’re all having a lovely holiday season, and if you don’t celebrate, I hope you’re having a relaxing, peaceful time. I hope winter’s being kind to you.
I plan on sending out another little note before the year is up with some upcoming news and the like, but right now I just wanted to say that I hope everyone’s well and comfortable and content, and most of all, I wanted to say thank you.
When I started this little Substack, I had no idea that so many people would be interested, would want to read along with me and interact with this little venture of mine. I’m absolutely blown away by the response you’ve all had to this little project.
So, thank you for reading, have some good food and snuggle up with a warm blanket -- the next installment of Carmilla will go live on Tuesday morning as usual.
Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy Kwanzaa, happy holidays, and I hope you have a lovely night. I hope the end of 2022 is gentle for you all.
I’m going to go kick back with a cup of cocoa and a blanket and enjoy the quiet for a little while. The library decided to create a fireplace in my little corner of the archives, and I’m not sure where the firewood is coming from, but at this point, I’m not going to question it.
